How to attach the trellis depends on what your attaching it to.  Most of the time, attaching is quite easy whether you're a seasoned DIY'er, or a beginner.  If fixing to brick/concrete, or to some metal or colorbond fences, it may be easier to first attach some timber batton's, which you can then simply screw or nail into and hang your trellis.  A timber fence is one of the easiest type of mounts, requiring as little as 4 screws or nails per trellis  (a few more wouldn;t hurt especially in higher wind load areas.  If you are attaching to a wire fence or balustrade, you can easily use cable ties (no other tools required!), and in the case of a glass balustrade, you can wire to the handrail, or use 3M type adhesive hooks (where exposed to severe weather or high UV, you may consider additional support in this case)
